Just when we were both ready to give up on dating, one final message changed everything.
What started as a simple conversation became a first meeting, endless conversations, and the feeling that we had somehow known each other much longer than we actually had. We were each other's last shot, and it turned out to be the right one.
A Brazilian dreamer met a sea-hearted mermaid, and a beautiful new life began.
The more time we spent together, the more certain we became.
Then came Valentine's Day: a homemade lasagna, balloons, flowers, and a ring.

Our story was never just about the two of us.
From the beginning, it included an incredible mother, a wonderful little boy, and a man hoping to become part of something bigger than himself. Somewhere along the way, we stopped building a relationship and started building a family.
And when Everett welcomed me into his world, it became one of the most meaningful "yes" moments of all.
Somewhere between a last message, a first yes, and a family built together, we found something greater than we ever expected.
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter — filled with new adventures, new memories, new traditions, and a lifetime of moments we have yet to imagine.
Together, we will build a home filled with laughter, support each other's dreams, face every challenge hand in hand, and celebrate every victory as one family.
The words engraved inside our rings remind us of what brought us here and what will guide us forward. Not just today. Not just tomorrow. But for all the years still waiting to be written.
